When sending or receiving crypto, be sure to select the correct network or your funds will be lost. All sends to crypto addresses are irreversible. Ember cannot retrieve funds sent to an incorrect address.

Send

To send crypto in Ember, first go to the Wallet tab and then tap on your Bitcoin wallet. Then, tap on the small arrow in the top right. From here, you can enter the wallet address from your external wallet or exchange. When initiating a transfer, you are subject to standard network fees. To get a better understanding of Bitcoin fees, I recommend checking out this article.

Please note that the minimum amount of Bitcoin required to send off-platform is 0.0001 BTC. If you are unable to transfer and receive an error like "Not enough BTC to send", then this is likely why.

Receive

To receive crypto in Ember, first go to the Wallet tab and then tap on your Bitcoin wallet. Then, tap on the small QR code in the top right. On this screen, you will see a QR code that you can use on your external app, or you can copy your wallet address directly.

This address is a Bitcoin wallet, and can only be used to receive Bitcoin. Sending other cryptos to this wallet will result in the loss of funds.

Please note that for security purposes, this wallet address may change throughout the day. All previous addresses are valid and balances will be combined.
