As we previously shared, our partner, Wyre, is gradually phasing out their services this week. Simultaneously, Ember is transitioning towards a fully non-custodial infrastructure in the upcoming days.
As a result, if you currently have any USDC or ETH in your Ember account, it will be converted into BTC and relocated to your Self Custody wallet tomorrow (7/6/23) at 9am PST.
If you wish to retain your USDC or ETH without conversion, we kindly request you to transfer it off platform prior to this time, following the steps provided below.
How to Transfer ETH or USDC out of Ember:
- Visit the Profile page & tap on USDC or ETH
- Tap on the send arrow at the top right corner of the page
- Enter the max amount you can send and the external wallet address you'd like to send to
