At Ember, we are committed to providing you with a secure crypto experience. To help protect your account, we are excited to announce the launch of our new security feature, Secure Sign-in. This feature is designed to help ensure that you are the only person accessing your account, even if someone else has your login credentials.

How it works:

If you sign in from a new device or on a different IP address, you will be prompted to approve or deny the login on your original device. This means that if someone tries to log into your account from a different device or location, you will receive a notification on your original device asking you to confirm or deny the login attempt.

If you are unable to approve or deny the login from the original device (for example, if you lost or broke the original device), you will need to wait 7 days to gain access to your account.

Secure Sign-in provides an additional layer of security to your account, helping to protect your personal information and prevent unauthorized access.

Things to note:

When reinstalling the app or clearing the app's cache, you may run into this security feature. Please be sure that you have your Ember account set up on another device before you do either of these. That way, you'll be able to approve your device successfully and you'll be good to go!

If you have already reinstalled the app or cleared your cache, unfortunately, you will need to wait 7 days before you will regain access to your account.
