As of October 4th, 2024, Ember has been removed from the Google Play Store due to new crypto exchange regulatory requirements in the UK, which the Ember team has decided not to pursue. These licenses do not align with Ember’s new company direction, which is now focused on gaming, which is why the decision was made.
What Does This Mean for You?
New users in the UK will no longer be able to download the Ember app from the Google Play Store.
Existing users will no longer receive new updates through Google Play, but if the app is already installed on your device, you can continue using it without interruption.
