As of September 25th, mining rewards are now classified as Bonus Sats for all users. Bonus Sats are "locked" and cannot be withdrawn until they are used in games, tournaments, or predictions to convert them into Withdrawable Sats.

Understanding Bonus Sats vs. Withdrawable Sats

Your balance on Ember is divided into two categories: Bonus Sats and Withdrawable Sats. To view this split, simply tap on your Satoshi rewards wallet, where you’ll see how your balance is distributed between these two types.

  • Bonus Sats: All Sats earned through mining are considered Bonus Sats. These cannot be withdrawn immediately and must first be used in one of Ember's games, tournaments, or predictions to be converted into Withdrawable Sats.

  • Withdrawable Sats: Sats earned through task providers like Adgem or adjoe are automatically Withdrawable Sats and can be withdrawn without needing to meet any play-through requirements.

How to Convert Bonus Sats to Withdrawable Sats

To unlock your Bonus Sats for withdrawal, you need to wager them in one of Ember's many games. As you play and win, the Sats you earn will be converted to Withdrawable Sats. However, it’s important to note that games have different contribution rates, which affect how quickly you can meet the play-through requirement.

Contribution Rates

Here’s a breakdown of how different games contribute towards fulfilling your play-through requirement:

  • 100% Contribution Rate:

    • Paid Tournaments

    • Paid Predictions

For these games, every dollar you wager will fully count toward your play-through requirement. Any winnings from these games will immediately become Withdrawable Sats.

  • 10% Contribution Rate:

    • Mines

    • Plinko

    • Spinner

    • Crash

    • Dice

    • All other games

For these games, only 10% of your wager will count toward your play-through requirement. For example, if you wager $100, only $10 will count toward unlocking Withdrawable Sats.

Recap: How to Unlock Your Sats

To convert Bonus Sats to Withdrawable Sats, you must meet the play-through requirement by wagering your Bonus Sats in eligible games. Keep in mind that different games have varying contribution rates, which will affect how quickly you can meet this requirement.
