If you are not comfortable initiating transfers on the blockchain, the Ember Bitcoin Wallet method may be a better option. This will ensure that your funds are sent correctly.

In this article, we will cover using Coinbase Wallet or MetaMask to receive your mining transfer. At the end, we will link to two additional articles that explain how you can then send these funds to either Coinbase or Binance.

We highly recommend downloading either Coinbase Wallet or MetaMask for the initial step, as these wallets have the option to receive tokens sent via the Polygon network. If you choose to use an alternative wallet, you are doing so at your own risk.

PLEASE NOTE: Coinbase Wallet is a separate app from standard Coinbase. Coinbase and Binance CANNOT receive the initial wBTC deposit on the Polygon network.

Before moving forward, please note that sending your funds to an incorrect address or on the wrong network will result in the loss of these funds.

Coinbase Wallet:

Step 1: Download Coinbase Wallet

Step 2: Swap wBTC to MATIC

MetaMask:

Step 1: Download MetaMask

Please download MetaMask and follow their steps to set up your own wallet. Once complete, please tap on the "Ethereum Main Network" at the top. Tap "Add Network" and select "Polygon Mainnet" from the list.

Once you have changed your network over to Polygon, we now need to add wBTC as an option. Please tap on "Import tokens" as shown in the screenshot below:

Ttap on "Custom Token" at the top. For "Token Address", enter the following address:

0x1bfd67037b42cf73acf2047067bd4f2c47d9bfd6

Token Symbol and Token Decimal will autofill. Tap "Import".

Now, tap into the wBTC token, scroll down, and tap "Receive". You should see the following screen:

Copy this wallet address, paste it into Ember, and then confirm your transaction! At this point, please wait until your withdrawal is processed on our end. The following steps will outline how you can go from wBTC to MATIC (which can then be sent to your exchange of choice).

Step 2: Swap wBTC to MATIC

Once you receive your wBTC, the next step is to swap this into MATIC. To do so, tap into the wBTC and then tap the "Swap" button.

Swap from wBTC to MATIC, enter your amount, and then "Swipe to swap". You should see the following screen:

Once your wBTC is swapped for MATIC, you can now send your MATIC to the exchange of your choice using the Polygon network.
