Breeze Payments: Everything You Need to Know

Written by Jack

Ember has recently partnered with the trusted third-party payment provider Breeze to power purchases and redemptions for our users in the US!

What is Breeze?

Breeze is our new standard payment partner for US users. Breeze enables fast and secure redemptions straight to your bank account (ACH). When buying Token packs, you can use your credit/debit card or Apple/Google Pay. Most US users are already live on Breeze, and the full transition will be completed within the next week or two.

Why the change?

This transition is part of a larger upgrade to our payment rails as we launch and expand our new web app: app.ember.fun. By moving to Breeze, we’re able to:

  • Help reduce some of the cooldown rules you may have run into in the past, making redemptions smoother and faster for everyone

  • Lay the groundwork for future payment features

  • Reduce fraud

How do I use Breeze?

When buying Token packs, you’ll also be redirected to Breeze where you can pay with a card or Apple/Google Pay.

When you redeem your rewards through Ember, you’ll now be redirected to Breeze to enter your bank information. Once your request is approved, your redemption will be sent directly to your bank account.

If Breeze requires any additional details to complete your redemption, they’ll let you know directly.

Need help?

If you have any questions about Breeze or run into any issues with your redemption, our team is here to help. Just reach out to Ember Support and we’ll get you sorted!

We appreciate your support during this transitionary period!
